Does it slow down my browser?
No. Orbit Station only loads on the new tab page — it doesn't inject scripts into other sites or run in the background. The animations are buttery smooth and use almost zero CPU. Everything loads instantly so your new tab feels snappy every time.
What about my privacy?
Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero data collection. All your data stays safely in your browser. We never see your links, workspaces, or browsing activity. We only request the minimum permissions needed to save your settings and restore your tabs.
Can I go back to the default new tab?
Yes, instantly. Just disable or remove the extension from your browser's extensions page and your original new tab returns. Your Orbit Station config is also exportable as a JSON file, so you never lose your setup.
Which browsers are supported?
Any Chromium-based browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, and Opera. Safari and Firefox support is planned for a future release.
Do I need to pay to use it?
No. Orbit Station is completely free with every feature unlocked — unlimited workspaces, all views, command palette, notes, todos, focus timer, and more. No account required. A Pro tier with cloud sync, AI features, and team workspaces is planned for the future.
