These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Orbit Station browser extension and the orbitstation.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Omnivurse Technologies ("we," "us," "our"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
Orbit Station replaces your browser's new tab page with a configurable workflow launcher. The Free tier is local-first: it requires no account and stores your data on your device.
The optional Pro tier adds cross-device sync, cloud backup, and related premium features. Pro requires you to sign in with Google and to maintain an active subscription.
New Pro subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial that does not require a credit card. If you do not start a paid subscription, Pro features simply switch off at the end of the trial and your local data remains intact. We may limit trials to one per user and modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.
You agree not to:
You retain all rights to the content you create in Orbit Station (your workspaces, links, notes, todos, and other data). We claim no ownership of it.
If you enable Pro sync, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process your content solely to provide the sync and backup features to you. We do not use your content for advertising, training, or any purpose other than operating the Service for you.
The extension is designed to keep working locally even if our sync service is unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the cloud sync service and may perform maintenance, updates, or changes. Where sync is temporarily unavailable, your local data remains accessible on each device.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data (for example, via the JSON export feature).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omnivurse Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$50.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or our infrastructure. On termination, the license granted in §8 ends and your synced data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Omnivurse Technologies is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable consumer-protection law entitles you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date, and where required we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
