No. Orbit Station only loads on the new tab page — it doesn't inject scripts into other sites or run in the background. It's built with performance-first engineering: lazy loading, GPU-accelerated animations, and a minimal footprint.
What about my privacy?
Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero data collection. All your data stays in your browser's local storage. We never see your links, workspaces, or browsing activity. The only permission we request is storage — for saving your config locally.
Can I go back to the default new tab?
Yes, instantly. Just disable or remove the extension from chrome://extensions and your original new tab returns. Your Orbit Station config is also exportable as a JSON file, so you never lose your setup.
Which browsers are supported?
